Project Runway Season 18 Eliminated Contestants From Episode 12 Speak Out

Here's why this week's elimination was a particularly tough one.

By Hannah Fusaro

Project Runway Season 18 Episode 12 was definitely a tough episode, as not one but two designers were sent home, following last week's episode in which no one went home. Unfortunately, Brittany Allen and Marquise Foster were both eliminated this week — for the second time.

How to Watch

The first time she was eliminated, Christian Siriano used his "Siriano Save" to keep Brittany in the competition, telling judges, "I think Brittany lost her way in this challenge, but I think she's so talented and amazing that I want to save her." Marquise was also eliminated earlier this season, but was brought back the very next episode after designer Dayoung Kim left for health reasons. So it was particularly difficult for Brittany and Marquise as their hopes of success on Project Runway were resurrected but then ultimately dashed.

In fact, her second elimination had Brittany so rattled that on the Project Runway After Show, she asked Christian if he regretted using his "Siriano Save" to bring her back.

"I think just in the end, I did not want you to regret giving me that second chance," Brittany said, to which Christian responded, "No. I gave you that second chance because you deserved to try again and stay and put more of your work into it."

Similarly, Christian told Marquise, "You should feel really proud. And you came back and did amazing things, so that's great too... I hope it inspires both of you for what rest of your career's going to be."
