Rachel Zoe Comments on Where She Stands with Brad Goreski Today

It's been more than a decade since Rachel Zoe and Brad Goreski parted ways professionally in 2010. However, Bravo fans are still curious about their famous falling out.

When Rachel appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on July 20, the titular host shared that the "No. 1 question" from fans concerned her current relationship with her former assistant. In fact, Andy Cohen noted that viewers always want to know the same thing from Brad whenever he appears on WWHL.

Andy went on to read a question from one fan who specifically wanted to know from Rachel, "Is it uncomfortable to see [Brad] at events when you're out, or is it all [in the] past?"

Rachel's response? "I don't see him," she said.

Rachel's fellow WWHL guest Mindy Kaling then asked "what happened," to which Andy said that she needed "to binge" The Rachel Zoe Project. 

"Isn't it, like, professional?" Mindy asked Rachel, who replied, "People should be professional. They should."

Brad addressed his falling out with Rachel in Season 1 of his Bravo series It's a Brad, Brad World in 2012. "We don't speak to each other," he said at the time via PEOPLE. "I would love to be able to speak with her."

During an appearance on WWHL in 2013, Brad shared that he and Rachel were still not on speaking terms. "My door is always open. My phone is available to her if she ever wants to speak again. I'm here," he said. "But at the moment, that's not her choice. I was happy to be her assistant, and I'm now happy to be on my own and happy to be following her show on Bravo on 'Fashion Night.'"

When Rachel appeared on WWHL in 2014, she confirmed that she didn't talk to Brad, although she said that when she saw him around, she would say hi to him, sharing only "greetings, like, 'Hey, have a nice day.'"

Brad shared a similar sentiment on WWHL in 2015, revealing that he and Rachel had said hello to one another when they ran into each other at a show during Fashion Week. "I still adore Rachel," he said at the time. "I'm so pleased for her and her clothing line and her kids and her family, and I wish her all the best and continued success."

Brad still looks back fondly on his time on The Rachel Zoe Project. He commemorated the 12th anniversary of the series' premiere in 2020 on Instagram.

And who knows? Rachel could one day be back on our screens. When Andy asked during her most recent WWHL appearance if she would ever do another reality show, the celebrity stylist responded, "Uh, working on it."

Rachel later shared a clip of the moment on her Instagram with the caption, "You never know what could happen on @bravowwhl."

And yes, Rachel does still approve her husband's sartorial choices. "OK, so the answer is if he's going somewhere that I'm going with him, yes, he has to [get his outfits approved] because we have to look like we're going to the same place, right?" Rachel answered a fan question during the WWHL After Show — while Rodger sat in the audience (clip below). "And when he's not with me, I think he pulls out all of his most disgusting things, in all seriousness. I'm like, have I taught you nothing?!"

However, Rachel said that her husband's style "really has" evolved over the years. "It's gotten better. In the pandemic, he fell backwards about 30 steps," she said. "But, yes, better."
