Ramona Singer Reveals Her Rules for Dating
The 'RHONY' star dishes on what she's looking for in a guy.
If you're hoping to go out on a date with Ramona Singer, get ready to take some notes. The Real Housewives of New York star has some guidelines when it comes to potential paramours.
"If on the first date, if he doesn't help me with my coat, then I don't want to be with him," she tells People. "I like a man who is attentive from the very beginning. If he's not, then you don't want him."
And Ramona even has a suggestion for what she considers a first-class first date since splitting with her husband of 22 years, Mario Singer, last July.
"Have great bottle of wine, great conversation, maybe go somewhere else later for a drink and then the next day they send you flowers," she says.
But don't expect a chance encounter with the Turtle Timer. When it comes to eligible bachelors, she prefers a matchup from a mutual friend. "I really like to be set up," she said. "It's nicer because the person setting us up knows me and them."
And if you think Ramona plans on making any excuses for her work on reality TV, think again."I don't want them to have any kind of pre-judged opinion of me," she says. "I'm proud of what I do but I don't want to be judged for what I do because it can be taken out of context."
