Reagan Charleston Says She Was "KNOCKED OUT" by Complications Following the Birth of Her Baby Girl
"We have had the hardest, but best week ever," the Southern Charm New Orleans mom shared.
Reagan Charleston's first few days as a parent haven't been easy. The Southern Charm New Orleans mom recently opened up about some challenges she and husband Reece Thomas have encountered since they welcomed their first child on June 12.
Reagan shared an update on how she and Reece have been doing since welcoming daughter Reece Ellis Thomas to the world last week. She and her husband, Reece, have been in the hospital since even before their baby girl was born because he came down with a case of appendicitis less than 24 hours before their little one arrived. "Just two invalids [and] their precious baby! Not how I thought we’d spend your first Father’s Day. We are grateful for you!!" Reagan shared in an Instagram post on Sunday, June 16, along with a photo of the couple in the hospital. "Reece is still waiting for his inflammation to go down so he can [have] his surgery, but trooped to come take care of me [and our] little girl today."
She then went on to reveal that she has been dealing with some health issues of her own following her daughter's birth. "I was enjoying what had been an easy delivery [and] recovery and was KNOCKED OUT by postpartum pre-eclampsia," Reagan shared. "We have had the hardest, but best week ever. It’s smooth sailing from here, Dad!! Love you both so much."
Even though Reagan and Reece seem to have gone through several obstacles in the lead-up to their daughter's birth, they couldn't be happier to be parents. "She’s here, and she is perfect," Reagan gushed while announcing her baby's arrival on Instagram last week. "Life will never be the same."
