Real Housewives of Howard? Is Beth Stern Bravo-Bound?
The radio host's second half cooked up an A+ Wives-worthy tagline.
It's not like they need the money or fame, but how amazing would it be if Howard Stern and his wife Beth were part of the Real Housewives of New York City world? You think Ramona Singer causes drama -- imagine Howard pushing buttons at every shmancy dinner party!
While it probably won't happen any time soon, Beth certainly brought her A-game when it came to whipping up her very own Housewives tagline during the Watch What Happens Live after show on Tuesday night. When asked by a caller what her catchphrase would be, Beth pondered for a second, then even did the opening credits turnaround and let it loose: "My husband may be the King of All Media, but I'm the queen of the house."
It was perfection, and even Andy Cohen knew it.
"Sending contracts over to you tomorrow," the man behind the Housewives said.
And should Beth ever actually wind up on Housewives, she says every 'Wife she's met has been quite nice to her, so there's no pre-existing beef.
"I do run into them all the time," she said when a caller asked if she'd had any "scary" moments. "Ramona is lovely to me. Jill Zarin, fabulous. I saw Bethenny a few summers ago -- delightful. LuAnn, sweet. They're all very, very nice women. Kelly Bensimon runs in little outfits and looks hot as heck. They're very kind to me -- I don't have a bad word to say." Talk about pleading the fifth!
