Shannon Beador Had No Idea *This* Happened During The Quiet Woman Drama
The #RHOC mom reflects on the disastrous dinner.
The Quiet Woman will undoubtedly go down as one of the most heated moments in the history of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Can you believe it was only a week ago when we witnessed all that drama?
Well, we did, and we're still not over it. Apparently, neither is Andy Cohen since he asked the woman at the center of the drama, Shannon Beador, to break down the buzziest moments of the night during Monday's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. And when she did, she revealed that there was something she had no idea occurred until she watched the episode back at home. Check out the clip above to find out the discovery Shannon said "was something else."
And that's not all Shannon realized when she relived the moment. "One little tidbit is that I never knew food flew off that plate until I saw the episode," Shannon recently revealed to The Daily Dish. "I just thought I just pushed the plate a little nice way, but no."
Shannon explained what pushed her to that point. "I go to The Quiet Woman all the time. That's where I met my husband [David Beador]. It has some history with my family, and I never saw Kelly [Dodd] there once. So I was absolutely surprised. And then to find myself in the restroom alone to see her for the first time. I was panicked. I was panicked. And I go, 'Well, what do I talk about? What do I talk about? Oh, my weight!' Because that had just happened that day," Shannon said, referring to her visit to see her trainer, Dr. Tim. "So that's why I talked about it. You know, I was a little tipsy that night. It was my last hurrah. So as I said it over and over, ugh, just humiliated by that thing."
Upon further reflection, Shannon said that she regrets how she behaved at The Quiet Woman. "I'm not proud of my reactions and my overreacting that night at the Quiet Woman and with Lydia [McLaughlin] as well," she shared. "I was just kind of at a not happy place with my life, with where I was."
However, she does question Kelly's motives in wanting to upset her so much. "To hear Kelly say that she enjoys upsetting me and pushing my buttons and taking me off the emotional coaster... I don't enjoy upsetting anybody — ever, even if I'm in the right," Shannon said. "Who enjoys upsetting people?"
But you'll be happy to know that all of this drama hasn't kept Shannon from dining at The Quiet Woman. In fact, she and Tamra Judge ate there with their husbands the night before that episode of RHOC aired. "Oh, they said, 'If we didn't let people back in that did stuff like you, the bar would be dead every day,'" Shannon said.
