Reza Farahan Says His Husband Adam Neely Is Already "Practicing" for Fatherhood
The Shahs of Sunset couple is targeting a start date for having babies.
Reza Farahan and Adam Neely hope to start a family soon, with Adam leading the charge to make it happen ASAP. For Reza's part, after consulting a fertility specialist and learning that the process might cost well into the six figures, the Shahs of Sunset realtor wanted to make sure that they were finished with construction on their new home and were financially ready to make the next big investment.
While they wait to begin the process, Adam seems to have found a way to fulfill his need to nurture by spending time with his friends' kids.
"My sweet husband @theadamneely 'practicing' with our friend’s beautiful son!" Reza captioned an Instagram picture of Adam and an adorable young child. "Homeboy is ready for fatherhood, BIG TIME!"
The couple is closer to getting started than you might think.
"So we had a plan of building a house, and once we got settled in our house we would start the baby-making process," Reza told The Daily Dish earlier this month. "And as it turns out, this inspector signed off on our construction literally as I was getting on the plane to come here. So when I get home, we're gonna move into our new house, which means Adam's uterus will be on fire, and I'll have to drop like 200 grand so we can make a baby."
Sounds like a plan, but Reza admitted that he isn't going into it without some trepidation.
"I'm super anxious, just because I spent a fortune on a haircare line, I just spent a fortune building a house, and now I'm gonna have to spend a fortune to make a kid," he said. "So when they were saying, 'What do you want the kid to look like?' I was like, I want the egg donor to be from Harvard or Yale because when this baby grows up, it's gonna be getting a bill with interest."
