In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Kenya revealed that the pair have another mediation date booked and she’s hopeful they can soon find a resolution. “Hopefully, that turns out well. If not, we have to go to trial, and I don’t want to go to trial. I never have,” she said. “I wanted to settle and move on and just wish everyone well [and] find the happiness that you feel you didn’t have in this scenario. Happiness and peace.”

Kenya filed for divorce from Marc in August 2021. That filing came nearly two years after Kenya and Marc first confirmed they had separated in September 2019 after marrying in June 2017

Kenya and Marc Co-parenting of Brooklyn Update

While Kenya works out the next steps with Marc, who is based in New York City, the RHOA mom has been busy putting together her support group of friends and family down in Atlanta to help with Brooklyn.

“I’m building my village. I’ve got my immediate family that’s there. My Aunty Lori, who we all know and love, and my cousin, but I am also building friends,” she noted, sharing that her friend Akilah Coleman has been a great support for her. “Our children used to go to the same school, and that’s how we met, and she lives like three minutes away from me, so if there’s ever anything I need, I can just call her, and our children are just so great together. So she’s been added to my little package, my little village. And then, of course, I expanded on my au pairs so that I can have a little bit more time off on the weekend, so if I want to go out on a date or go have a lunch or just have a spa day to myself, I have the time to do it now.”

Sometimes Kenya also enjoys just having some alone time at Moore Manor. “It’s the funniest thing, when the house is empty, I just go yes, because I try to take a half day off on Friday, just work a half day, and Brooklyn is still in school, and just having the house to myself, I’m like, yes, I have an empty house,” she said, adding with a laugh, “This feels so good.”
