Crystal Kung Minkoff Reveals What the Internet Has Wrong About Her
The RHOBH cast member cleared up some misinformation about her that’s floating around the internet.
Crystal Kung Minkoff is setting the record straight. While teasing The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ September 21 episode on Instagram, she revealed a piece of false information floating around the internet about her age, but the inaccuracy isn’t what you might think.
“Excited to share my 39th birthday celebration with you all tomorrow night on [RHOBH],” she captioned a party shot of her and her “dapper date,” husband Rob Minkoff, on September 20, adding, “Yes, my birthday is wrong on Google! For the record, it’s 2/4/83.”
Though several of the top hits on Google have Crystal’s correct age, some claim she’s actually younger, listing her as 37 years old with a June birthday.
Once she pointed out that error, the RHOBH cast member shared more birthday party details. “I had so much fun planning it and had plenty of help along the way! I’ll be posting all my go-to’s for throwing a fabulous Roaring 20’s themed party!” Crystal added. “A highlight? This Paper Moon vintage photo booth…. It’s the perfect start to a lifetime of memories!”
One person who helped Crystal execute the bash was one of her “oldest and bestest friends from middle school” named Jenny, as she revealed in a September 21 Instagram post. Crediting Jenny for putting “such a big smile on [her] face” on the night of the celebration, the RHOBH ’Wife also thanked her for “making sure every detail was perfect and for years of keeping [her] ass in check.”
Just as she did in the more recent IG photo with her middle school pal, Crystal also showed off her chic (as Dorit Kemsley might say) party outfit in another post from February. “Old enough to know better, but still young enough to get away with it,” she captioned that February 4 shot, adding “39” as a hashtag.
So even though the big 4-0 is closer than some websites might have you believe, Crystal seems to be embracing her real age with open arms.
