“After darkness comes light. 365 days ago I was at one of the lowest points in my life. Thanks to your love and support, it is with tears in my eyes that I announce my first Las Vegas Residency: BET IT ALL ON BLONDE,” she shared on Instagram this week about the Sin City show, alongside a dazzling poster that shows her in a bedazzled bodysuit and her hair all tousled. “To anyone who’s ever told you that something isn’t possible, that you’re not good enough, or that they don’t believe in you — DREAMS DO COME TRUE. I’m forever grateful for all of you who have been with me through this journey and I’m so excited to celebrate life’s moments with you starting August 25th! Let’s go Vegas!!!”

According to Instagram, the residency will take place at the House of Blues, running through December.

In an interview with The Daily Dish back in 2022, as Erika was dealing with changes in her personal life, she opened up about how she was finding herself again, sharing, “I am picking up the pieces of my life and going forward. And there are good days, bad days, and some fun days. And, you know, that’s, that's really my journey.”

She also noted at the time how she was feeling creative again and hoping to share that side of herself with fans very soon. “It’s kind of like my punk rock era without being punk rock about it,” she explained of the “pretty strong” records she was working on at the time. “It’s kind of no-holds-barred.”

She noted that in addition to recording, last year she was already thinking of hitting the stage again: “I’m back making music and that means we’ll be back to making visuals and shows.”

She added when speaking to The Daily Dish that “Erika has gotten her groove back in some ways, for sure.”

More recently, Erika, who has always fittingly been a fan of a “showgirl” moment, has been dropping breadcrumbs for fans who are curious about her upcoming Las Vegas residency. Back in March of this year, she told ET, “It’s a dream come true, actually. It’s a dream of mine to have a Vegas residency, and it’s happening.”

And it sounds like Vegas is just the beginning: “Let me get past this,” she told ET, referencing her Las Vegas residency. “Let me get past this, and then I’ll dream up some more things… Vegas is gonna be great, and we’re gonna add some more stuff to it.”

For now, as Erika put it on Twitter, “IT’S SHOWTIME BABY!”
