Take a Look Back at Jamie Lee Curtis’ *Chic* RHOBH Cameos
Before Halloween Ends premieres, we have the footage to prove how the movie star has been close to RHOBH’s Kyle Richards for years.
October is upon us, which means it’s officially spooky season. And yes, that means Kyle Richards and Jamie Lee Curtis are teaming up once again to appear in the latest installment of the iconic Halloween franchise.
Not that we need to remind you, but mark your calendar, because Halloween Ends drops on Peacock the same day as its theatrical release on October 14. We also don’t need to remind The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans that Kyle and Jamie Lee’s friendship goes far beyond the set.
The two actresses have known each other for decades and their bond is tight. In fact, Jamie Lee has even appeared on RHOBH a few times over the years, giving fans some unique insight into their friendship.
Jamie Lee first appeared on RHOBH back in Season 4. In the episode (clip above), the two women reflected on their early days of working together, which dates back to the very first Halloween movie, released in 1978. The heartwarming conversation included some fond memories of making that first movie, as well as the friendship that grew from there.
But that appearance has almost nothing on the cameo Jamie Lee made in Season 12 of RHOBH during the July 20 episode. As you might recall, Jamie Lee had lunch with the ladies and shared all about her work with My Hand In Yours (more below), including all the “so chic” items associated with the cause.
She also got way more insight into the dynamics of the group during the unforgettable luncheon. Relive a highlight or two, including Kyle and Jamie Lee revealing even more about their history together, below.
In fact, Dorit and the RHOBH cast later reflected on that buzzy cameo during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, below.
Season 12 just so happened to be chock-full of Jamie Lee, who also appears on Part 1 of the Season 12 reunion October 12, when she steps onto the stage and surprised the ladies. Andy Cohen, who was meeting the actress for the first time that day, declares her “an honorary Housewife” for the season, as she reflects on the experience (clip at the top of the post).
Looking chic in her black pantsuit, she sits down on the couches and says, “I had no idea the impact of your show. My appearance was the single biggest day in the history of my charity. And I just want to let you know, I have rebranded my charity ‘the chicest children’s charity,’ and I have renamed the [wind chime the] Dorit ‘Chic’ wind chime, because your genuine enthusiasm changed my company.”
She goes on to reflect on her iconic career in Hollywood as “the original scream queen,” as Andy calls her, noting that the enthusiasm around RHOBH is similar to how horror fans feel about her work in the legendary Halloween franchise. She added, “I feel their love."
You can stream Halloween Ends, featuring Jamie Lee and Kyle, beginning this Friday on Peacock, the same day it hits theaters.
