During the 95th Academy Awards on March 12, Jamie Lee Curtis won an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

In her speech, Jamie Lee thanked her loved ones, her co-stars, and moviegoers in general for their support. “I know it looks like I am standing up here by myself, but I am not,” she said during her acceptance speech. “I am hundreds of people.”

In addition to her Oscar-winning role in the dramedy, the 64-year-old is known for her work in movies such as Trading Places, My Girl, True Lies, Freaky Friday, Knives Out and the Halloween franchise. Her participation in the latter horror film series is what originally connected her to Kyle RichardsThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member who starred as Lindsey Wallace opposite Jamie Lee’s Laurie Strode in the franchise.

The Halloween actresses went from co-stars to friends after sharing the screen together, and Jamie Lee has appeared on RHOBH several times over the years. Her first cameo took place during Season 4, when she met up with Kyle to discuss their long history together (and to chat about their time on the Halloween set back in the ’70s).

About eight years after her first RHOBH appearance aired, Jamie Lee returned to the show for a luncheon where she told the ladies about her work with My Hand in Yours.

After Kyle introduced the cast to her “kind-hearted and thoughtful” friend, Jamie Lee highlighted a few of the products that were available to purchase from My Hand in Yours, including a tumbler, hats, a license plate holder, a dog leash, a candle, and a wind chime.

The luncheon instantly became iconic thanks to Dorit Kemsley’s positive and over-the-top reactions to all the items Jamie Lee showed — especially the wind chime.

“Jamie, let me just say, that is the chicest wind chime I have ever seen,” Dorit said after Jamie showed the piece. She also referred to the candle and the hats as “very chic” and “so chic,” respectively.

Following Jamie Lee’s Oscar win, Dorit shared several posts about the news on her Instagram Stories. In one, Dorit re-shared a post that featured the caption “Jamie Lee Curtis is an Oscar winner. Hear what her [co-star] Dorit Kemsley had to say about it!” The accompanying video was from the aforementioned luncheon, and Dorit can be heard saying the words “amazing” and “very chic.” Another tweet that Dorit re-shared featured a photo of the RHOBH cast member with the message, “An Oscar win for Jamie Lee Curtis is an Oscar win for her too.”

Dorit and Kyle both reposted a video from the RHOBH luncheon on their respective Instagram Stories as well. Kyle reacted to the video with a crying-laughing emoji.

Like the wind chime, consider Jamie Lee’s Oscar win to be “very chic.”
