Gretchen Rossi Reveals an Update on the Status of Her Pregnancy and It's Big
The RHOC alum shared that this "finally" happened as she expects her first baby.
Gretchen Rossi has kept fans in-the-know about her pregnancy since announcing it in December. And now The Real Housewives of Orange County alum just offered a big major update: she revealed exactly how far along she is. This week, she headed to Instagram to share with her fans: "I am finally through my first trimester (14 weeks now)."
It's been a long journey to motherhood for Gretchen. She started IVF four years ago, but lost 14 embryos after that first round. It made her want to take a break from the process. But late last year, an embryo was able to be implanted, which is the furthest step the couple has been able to get in the process.
This is the first child for Gretchen. Her longtime love, Slade Smiley, has two sons, Gavin and Grayson, from previous relationships.
Gretchen and Slade are expected to welcome their little one into the world in July. And Gretchen recently shared a message for any other couples out there going through similar issues to conceive: "Remember if you are going through this don’t give up! It’s been four years of heartache for us but we kept on pushing...so you got this! Sending you all baby dust & love!"
She also recently shouted out Slade for standing by her side through it all. "Be with that certain someone who even through the storms of life stands by your side. Thank you [Slade] for being that partner to me. I love you so much."
