Now, Emily is reflecting on everything she experienced during that emotional moment, as well as over a decade of marriage with Shane, in The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show clip above, which is exclusive to Bravo Insider members.

"Shane and I have been married 13 years now, and we've definitely had ups and downs," Emily says in the RHOC After Show clip above, going on to add about their Las Vegas nuptials, "One of the things that always bothered me was that we never ended up with really nice wedding photos from when we got married."

Emily goes on to express that the experience of tying the knot in Las Vegas was "a big fiasco" and she had wanted to do a vow renewal to make up for it, but Shane was not on board with that idea. "Shane would not do a vow renewal at all, so I felt like a good compromise was, well, let's just do the photos," Emily says, adding, "That way, I still get a dress, and I still get to be pretty, and then I get these memories, and we can include our children in it."

Recently, Emily took to Instagram to share even more about her nuptials with Shane.

"13 years ago Shane and I were married at the Bellagio in Vegas…unfortunately we never had any wedding photos and I've always felt a little sad not having beautiful photos to commemorate that day," she wrote in the caption of her April 13 post, alongside several heartwarming captures from the special day of the photo shoot.

Emily continued to explain the "compromise" she reached with her hubby, adding, "Shane was adamant about not having a vow renewal so we compromised and 're-did' our wedding photos as our family photos this year. It was such a beautiful and perfect day and I’m so happy our children were able to be a part of it and were so excited to be involved."

She concluded her post by expressing her gratitude for the occasion, writing, "This is just a reminder that there is no 'right' way to celebrate your love and commitment. I'd never heard of anyone 're-doing' their wedding photos and I basically made up the idea, but I felt like it was perfect for our family and our relationship and now I have the most beautiful photos."

Gina Kirschenheiter also shares details about the "really beautiful day" she was a part of as Emily's maid of honor during the wedding photo shoot, including how Shane reacted to it all, which you can check out in the RHOC After Show clip above by signing up for Bravo Insider.
