There's been no shortage of drama during Heather Dubrow's return to The Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 16. But that's something she's quite used to, having experienced all sorts of conflict in this social circle in her first tenure on the show.
And during Heather's appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 16, we were all reminded of one of her most dramatic moments that didn't even involve a Housewife. "We just counted down the top 25 fights in the Housewives world, ridiculous fights, and you just brought up such a good one," Andy Cohen said to Heather during the WWHL After Show (clip above).
That would be the disagreement Heather had with Sarah Winchester, a friend of Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi, back in Season 7 of RHOC. At a party celebrating her decision to legally change her last name to Dubrow, Heather memorably confronted Sarah after she ate the bow off of a cake before it was served at the event. But Sarah remained firm in her stance and unapologetic about snacking on the confection, causing some major conflict to break out among the whole group, including some of the ladies' significant others.
Though it all seemed pretty serious at the time, Heather now looks back at that moment with more levity. "That's the dumbest fight ever," Heather recalled during the WWHL After Show, before playfully quoting herself from the moment, "'You broke the bow off my cake and ate it.'"
Heather ultimately asked Sarah to leave the party at her home the night of the bow incident, but that doesn't mean she harbors any ill will toward her today. In fact, Heather shared during the WWHL After Show that she ran into Sarah not too long ago at a Mexican restaurant. "She looked good," Heather said.
This trip down memory lane was inspired by Andy's countdown of the 25 "strangest things to fight about" from all of The Real Housewives franchises over the years, which the host shared at the end of the February 16 episode of WWHL. Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga's sprinkle cookies drama, Cynthia Bailey's friendship contract, and Heather and Gretchen's Malibu Country beef all made the list. But the top spot went to the so-called "fish room" in Dorinda Medley's Berkshires estate.
