How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

During The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 premiere, viewers got a glimpse of the first Heather Dubrow event of the year. Literally. Her "New Year, New Me" included — well, actually, it's better to let the 'Wives speak for themselves.

"I know some people think I'm crazy about my party details," Heather said in a confessional, "But at this party, there's no logos, no initials of mine anywhere, no cucumbers, and no sand." There were, however, a videographer and professional photographer on hand to capture the event. No need to worry about selfies! Hands were free for drinks, designer clutches, and plenty of activities.

Of course, even without the cucumbers Emily Simpson had commented on in RHOC Season 17, the immaculately decorated space offered plenty for guests to talk about. In fact, there was seemingly no situation for which the hostess wasn't prepared. As an example, when Tamra Judge's hosiery snagged on Gina Kirschenheiter's dress, Heather immediately offered to send someone out to grab the cast member a fresh pair.

Or as Gina put it in her interview, "Dubrow knows how to do a party."

You can expect "a lot of stations," she continued. "A lot. Lot of stations."

It truly wouldn't be a Dubrow fete without options! "We have our lovely tarot card reader," Heather pointed out to guests, directing them to the "permanent jewelry" table and Wishing Wall as well. At the Wishing Wall, each person would be able to contribute three hopes for 2024 (anonymously!), which would be read out loud to attendees at the end of the afternoon. They'd write each one on a card, slip the card into a coordinating bag, and the bag would be placed on the wall, for a visual representation of everyone's dreams for the future.

As Gina jokingly explained in her interview, "There's instructions," to follow when Heather hosts a social occasion. "There are things you 'must do.' You gotta be prepared to go to work!"

Fortunately, that's a job that the 'Wives and their friends were more than willing to take on. Throughout the New Year's get-together, women sipped cocktails and mocktails, sat down for tarot readings, tried new jewelry trends, and modeled for a "360-degree photo booth" outside.

How will Heather top this party? Only the rest of RHOC Season 18 will tell.
