“Good Vibes. Bigger goals. Better experiences. More happiness,” she wrote on Instagram, adding, “Less pain. Stronger relationships” and punctuating her sentiment with three heart emojis.

Her joyous and glamorous Instagram photo received love from members of the Real Housewives family. Taylor Armstrong posted three fire emojis in the comments, while Vicki Gunvalson wrote, “Great picture and here’s to a great 2023!! You got this girl,” to which Shannon responded, “Love you!”

Shannon opened up about her split in a statement to People on January 11. She called the breakup “devastating” and added that she “was blindsided by the breakup.”

“I’ve never loved anyone more in my life,” Shannon said. “I was hopeful this was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I wanted it to work out. I’ve never loved anyone like I’ve loved John. But clearly, he didn’t feel the same way.”

John said, in part, to People that following the end of their relationship, “I just want the best for her. She deserves that.”

In addition to their split in real life, Shannon also confirmed that they no longer follow each other on social media. The news of their breakup comes after nearly four years of dating. The former couple met in 2019 and made their relationship Instagram official that July.
