Yes, That Was Phaedra Parks Making a Cameo in the RHODubai Reunion
Caroline Books was giving the RHOA alum a run-down on the drama during the Season 1 reunion. And we have the inside scoop from Phaedra about the advice she told the cast!
The Real Housewives of Dubai Season 1 reunion didn't just include juicy reveals, emotional moments, and yes that Book of Lies, but also a cameo from someone close to Caroline Brooks. Yes, that was in fact The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks offering Brooks a pep talk via FaceTime during the group's lunch break mid-reunion.
"People will be saying their truths and their falsehoods, child," Phaedra told her friend as Brooks was giving her the lowdown on all the reunion drama.
Of course, this wasn't the first time this season Phaedra and Brooks commiserated. Phaedra was hanging in Dubai with her friend during the July 6 episode of RHODubai (clip below) and when The Daily Dish spoke to her earlier this season, she reflected on what it was like witness the Real Housewives drama take place in a different city.
"Of course, you know, they're all asking me for advice. 'What do you think about this? What do you think about that?' And, you know, it's hard to describe what Housewives is like until you really get in the mix and so I met, a lot of them before they really started taping the show in Dubai," Phaedra, who frequently spends time in Dubai, said. "And so it was very interesting to see how it's come to fruition with this new installment. I mean, I think it's a good thing, but I think, you know, sometimes, you're like a deer in the headlights, you know? It all happens so fast. You think it's one thing, but then you realize it's totally different from what you thought."
And this is exactly what Phaedra shared with the RHODubai ladies about putting yourself out there: "I told them, just be yourselves. Be yourself because no one else can be you. You don't have to try to emulate any other characters you have seen anywhere else 'cause being yourself is the easiest job and it's the most interesting. Because we're all individuals, you know?"
