Joe Giudice Called Louie and Teresa to Give Them This Advice About the Joe Gorga Drama
Teresa’s ex-husband is all too familiar with the dynamic between her and Joe Gorga. Hear what he had to say about it on RHONJ.
Teresa Giudice's ex-husband, Joe Giudice, stepped up to the plate for the sake of her new husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas, on Episode 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which aired May 9.
She revealed as much while discussing the drama she and Louie are experiencing with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga. Tension has been building between the two couples throughout Season 13, and the latest problem that arose had to do with Teresa's rehearsal dinner, which Melissa, at the last minute, revealed she and Joe Gorga would not be attending.
"It's like, let him have his family," Teresa said to Louie on the episode. "Her being in his ear all these years, that's the result."
Of course, some of those years included the ones Teresa was married to Joe Giudice. And since he's familiar with the sibling drama, he "made it a point to call Louie," Teresa shared.
As for what was said, Louie recalled, "He literally said to me, 'Do not let Joe Gorga interfere in your life, because he's gonna try to do that. He's gonna feel intimidated. He's insecure.'"
Reflecting on the conversation, Louie told Teresa, "No matter what man you had in your life, your brother would've found something wrong with him."
Teresa, for her part, agreed — and admitted she felt responsible since Joe Gorga is her brother. "I feel really bad," she told her then-fiancée. "I don't want him hurting you anymore."
"Poor guy," she added of Louie in an interview confessional. "He's been taking it and taking it. And I feel horrible because it's my family. I'm embarrassed."
Back in conversation with Louie, Teresa continued to look back at her tumultuous relationship with her brother. "I see the way you are with your sisters and I always wanted it," she said to Louie. "I kept grabbing for my brother — grabbing, grabbing — and would always take the punches. But now, that's it. I'm done. I'm tired of getting hurt."
The drama is far from over, though. The RHONJ Season 13 finale airs next week on May 16, and as Dolores Catania teased, it's "just, like, an explosion."
"That’s the best word," Rachel Fuda added. "That’s exactly what happened — like, somebody set [off] a bomb and just walked away.”
To find out what the RHONJ cast mates mean, be sure to tune in to both the Season 13 finale and the Season 13 reunion.
