Margaret Josephs Honors Joe Benigno's Son on Veteran's Day: "Grateful for My Amazing Stepson"

Margaret Josephs recently offered a rare look at her life as a stepmom when she paid tribute to her stepson from her marriage to Joe Benigno.

Margaret shared a photo of her family along with a Veteran's Day tribute to her stepson, who serves in the armed forces. "Happy Veterans Day to all those who served and continue to serve our country!" The Real Housewives of New Jersey entrepreneur wrote. "Grateful for my amazing step son who began his service 7 years ago."

In addition to being a Benigno stepmom, Margaret also has a biological son from her first marriage to Jan Josephs, who she previously told The Daily Dish would not be making any appearances on the show (clip above). "I'm obsessed with my kids, but my kids are very private people because I'm not a private person obviously. I'm too much information. I think I'm humiliating to them on every level because I just say everything the way it is," she said.

Over the course of her time on RHONJ, she's been open about her sometimes-difficult relationship with Jan's three kids from before his marriage to Margaret.

"Listen, when I said I was disconnected with my children, they would always answer text messages. My children are also much older. I don't know if everybody had realized that. Two of the kids that I'm speaking of, one's 40, one's like 37. They're not so distant from my age. I also have numerous children that I don't speak about on the show because my family's extremely private," Margaret explained to The Daily Dish back in November 2018. "But I'm always gonna work on my relationships with my kids, we're healing, and I'm just very hopeful that things work out, but it's always a work in progress."
