It's time to go behind-the-scenes of a special RHONJ episode and explore these juicy secrets! All will be revealed.
The ladies of The Real Housewives of New Jersey are really bringing the drama in Season 10, and the producers of the show learn so much about the cast during filming. Luckily for us, they're now spilling some of their biggest secrets to Bravo in an exclusive "Behind the Episode" special for Season 10, Episode 3: "40 and Fancy Free." Read on to find out some insider info about your favorite Jersey 'Wives!
1. The Shopaholic
Producers say Jennifer Aydin is the person most likely to have shopping bags and online purchases around the house when production arrives for filming. They add that she usually spends the most money out of all the ladies on shopping trips.
2. A Sibling Thing
As any loyal RHONJ viewer knows, Teresa Giudice and her brother, Joe Gorga, have been through a lot. During hard times, the two siblings stick together. Producers say, "Teresa very much respects her brother and listens to his advice."
3. DIY Glam Gurus
Clearly, all of the ladies love a good glam session, but two of them are practically pros at dolling themselves up. Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs are best at doing their own hair and makeup, according to producers.
4. Joe & the ICE
The crew is present for many major moments in the cast members' lives. They watched the entire situation unfold between Joe Giudice, Teresa, and their daughters after he was transferred to an ICE facility. Apparently, they were also around for every phone call. Joe called Teresa from the facility "often five to seven times per day," say producers.
5. A Warm Welcome
When the crew films at Jennifer's Paramus, NJ palace, they are met with a very delicious greeting! The producers explain that Jennifer and Bill Aydin are "very warm to the crew — often having snacks and spreads generously prepared."
6. A Good Impression
Teresa's parenting style truly impresses the producers. "Teresa always chooses her children first and is a very hands-on mom."
7. The Hardest Part
If there's one thing the women of RHONJ know, it's how to speak their minds — which often leads to some kind of confrontation. According to producers, the hardest part of filming those heated moments is making sure that the camera operators are physically prepared for the ladies to make unexpected moves.
8. All in the Family
The producers film right inside cast members' homes, so they quickly learn about family dynamics. Margaret's husband, Joe Benigno, would "lose his mind" if Marge Sr. moved in, for example, producers tease.
Don't worry, there's much more where that came from! If you want to find out what other behind-the-scenes secrets are in store, like what Dolores Catania says Frank is like on a date or who Jackie Goldschneider was nervous to run into at Melissa's birthday party, you'll have to watch the special. So, go behind the third episode of Season 10, "40 and Fancy Free," with Bravo and get the inside scoop.
