Teresa Giudice Shares a Major Update on Her and Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ Blended Family
The RHONJ newlywed revealed how things really went when Louie’s ex-wife recently came over for dinner.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, may have found the final ingredient for perfectly blending their families.
“I just had Louie’s ex-wife over for dinner, and it went great,” the RHONJ newlywed revealed to Fox News Digital on November 2. “Louie reached out to my ex, [Joe Giudice], and it went amazing. It made my children happy, so I want to make my stepsons just as happy.”
Indeed, Louie met Joe — with whom Teresa shares daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana — in the Bahamas early last year. Meanwhile, Louie is a father to two sons, Louie Jr. and Nicholas, and when the RHONJ couple married in August, all six of their children participated in the ceremony.
On the episode of her Namaste B$tches podcast that aired the same day, Teresa spilled even more tea about their “beautiful” family dinner at her and Louie’s home. Though Gia “was at college,” her daughters Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana also joined in the fun, as did Nicholas’ best friend. “We were laughing, we had a great time,” Teresa shared, noting that Louie’s “sweet” ex brought flowers and dessert (that we hope didn’t include any sprinkle cookies) to the gathering.
In case you were wondering how Teresa felt going into the dinner, she added, “Trust me, I was nervous. But now that this happened, now I feel like everything’s complete.... I’m just happy this all happened.”
Recalling the first time she met Louie’s ex, who was also his high school sweetheart, the RHONJ ’Wife explained that Louie’s previous “bad relationships” made her want to get closer with his loved ones. “I felt like I had to prove myself. I wanted them to know that I am a good person, that I would never hurt Louie in any way,” she added. “Same thing with his ex-wife: I wanted her to know… there’s not this crazy person that’s gonna be around her sons.”
As Teresa summed up, “We do it for the children.”
