Kelly Bensimon Offers an Update on Her All-Grown-Up Daughters: "I Miss My Girls So Much"
The RHONY alum opens up about having two kids away at college.
Kelly Bensimon just might be spending Valentine's Day solo since both her daughters, Thadeus and Sea, are away at university getting their education on. And she's definitely feeling a little bummed to not be spending February 14 with them by her side.
"I wish my kids are going to be home for Valentine’s, but they are both in college and I am an empty nester," The Real Housewives of New York City alum told Page Six. “I am lonely without them. I miss my girls so much. I mean 20 years of raising girls on your own and then all of a sudden poof — they’re gone! They’re flying the coop.”
Last we checked in, her youngest daughter with her ex-husband, famed fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon, Thadeus, was attending Trinity College. Meanwhile, older sis Sea had been going to the University of Mississippi.
Still, it does appear they do make it home for other important holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas to get in some very important — and ultra-glamorous — mom time.
