The day after the duo attended the New York City premiere of Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody on December 13, Karen shared a glam Instagram photo with Rayvin, writing, "My baby girl was my date last night."

Among those who celebrated the mother-daughter date night in the comments was The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice, who reacted with two red heart emojis.

As if the sweet outing wasn't already momentous enough, Rayvin revealed in the caption of a Wednesday, December 14 Instagram post that this was her first movie premiere, adding that it was "a pinch me moment to walk the carpet" with her mom.

"You absolutely killed it! Stunning!" Karen wrote in the comments, adding, "Mommy is so proud of you."

Earlier this year, Bravo Insider spoke to the RHOP daughter, who shared that she was "living in New York City, working in fashion, and loving it," of course. "The hustle and bustle was made for me, and I fit right in. I’m always somewhere and giving the girls booked and busy, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything," she said in April, adding, "Of course, I want to touch all parts of the creative field — music, interior design, etc., but my biggest aspiration is to be happy and fulfilled. My vision on what that means for me becomes clearer every day."

Just one day before their movie premiere date, Karen also shared an update on her son, Brandon, in honor of his 35th birthday. "From the very first moment, I saw you I knew God had blessed me with a very special gift," she captioned the heartfelt Instagram tribute on December 12, which included even more glorious family photos, including husband Ray Huger.

"Early on, it was just you and me taking on the world!" the RHOP Grande Dame continued. "Over the years, I’ve watched you grow from a curious little cherub of a baby boy into a man of integrity, generosity, brilliance, compassion, and heart. Your success in your career and in your daily walk of life makes me so very proud to call you my Son. You deserve all that is good in the world."
