This Riverdale Hunk Had No Idea Who Andy Cohen Was When He Met Him on Set
But there’s a really good reason he wasn’t familiar with the WWHL host.
Andy Cohen is a big fan of Riverdale — but are its cast members big fans of Andy? As it turns out, one of the hunky actors on the CW show had no idea who the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host even was, until recently.
It all came out when the Riverdale cast stopped by the WWHL clubhouse on October 9. The gang quickly began reminiscing about that time Andy made a cameo on the show, where he appeared as himself. While reminiscing about Andy's appearance, New Zealand native KJ Apa, who plays Archie Andrews on the show, shared, "The first time I met you was at craft [services]. In New Zealand, they don't play [WWHL] so I wasn't familiar with who you were. And I just remember, you were just sticking around at crafty, just eating for a long time."
Andy was quick to admit that in fact, he had taken advantage of the snacks on set — and didn't regret it one bit!
"It was some decent crafty, too," Andy said. "I had a blast — and I ate very well." Watch the clip above to hear the whole story.
