Ryan Serhant Gives a New Look at the Closet His Entire House Is Built Around (PHOTOS)
The Million Dollar Listing New York alum's stunning space features beautiful chevron flooring and glass case shelving.
After Ryan Serhant and Emilia Bechrakis Serhant purchased a townhouse for $7.6 million in 2018, they took on a "full gut" renovation, which Bravoholics got to witness on Million Dollar Listing: Ryan's Renovation.
"When we bought this place, it was fine. But we didn't want fine," Ryan explained on the first episode of the show. "What started as a light reno turned into a full gut."
In addition to adding a $150,000 elevator, new floors and ceilings for $700,000, and $180,000 insulation, among many other features, Ryan and Emilia also completely transformed the closet area, crafting their ideal space to house all their incredible clothes, shoes, and accessories.
"Some might say we built this entire house around this closet," Ryan says in the video above, where the realtor gives BravoTV a tour of the jaw-dropping space. "Some might be right."
In a recent Instagram Story, Ryan gave us another glimpse inside his gorgeous closet while picking out an outfit for the day. "Belt" or "No belt" were the options Ryan gave his followers, but we were more inclined to ask the Brooklyn dad about that beautiful chevron flooring he was sure to point out in the closet tour above.

In the clip, Ryan talks about the 26-foot-long wrap-around closet by California Closets, pointing out how the chevron flooring is "perfectly symmetrical with the lighting and speakers and the sprinklers and the vents for the air."
"Symmetry's really, really, really important," he emphasized.

In addition to their closet, Ryan and Emilia transformed almost all areas of their townhome, ultimately spending $2.6 million in renovation costs to create their ideal home.
Though the family initially expected to be moved in by June 2020, delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the renovation process didn't allow the Serhant brood to officially move in until April 2021.
Clearly, the wait was worth it. "This is completely insane," Ryan said on Million Dollar Listing: Ryan's Renovation. "We designed this whole thing on paper and on screens and now it's here in real life!"
Emilia added: "The house is completely transformed from what it looked like. Amazing."
