'Shahs' GG: I’m Much More Humble Now

No, seriously. She means it.

By Lauren Metz

What obsession with knives?

“It's made me a lot more humble. I'm not much of a huge people person, and I've noticed now I'm much more nice to people,” Golnesa 'GG' Gharachedaghi confides to Zap2it about her time spent in the Shahs of Sunset spotlight so far.

Despite seeing a shove match here and there this season (Hey, Asa!), the newly engaged California girl adds, “I take my time out to smile. It's made me more humble. You hope people wouldn't judge. The best thing about reality TV is [the audience gets] to watch you grow, as a process. You begin with a persona, and they see you come out of it.”

The Shahs Head to Cabo!

Emerging from that fight-first-think-later phase? Somewhere in L.A., GG’s sister is smiling. Then again, a flair for drama runs in this Persian family. “In Iran, my mom's uncle is one of the most famous poets and artists, and my uncle, my aunt's husband, is one of the most famous actors, so that fame thing was always around,” explains the fiery 29-year-old, who visits the motherland every year. “It's an amazing culture. I'm not 100 percent with the government, but it's a beautiful culture.”
