Mike Shouhed Addresses His Comments on Destiney Rose's Sexuality

Mike Shouhed is showing remorse for some comments he made about Destiney Rose's sexuality earlier this season on Shahs of Sunset. 

During an interview on Radio Andy's Jeff Lewis Live earlier this fall, Mike seemed to question Destiney's sexuality. He cleared up any confusion about his comments during his appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Thursday night (clip above). "Yes, I was joking," he explained. "I love her. It was just stupid, and I apologize."

Mercedes "MJ" Javid previously set the record straight on Mike's remarks about Destiney when she appeared on WWHL in September. "I'm really glad you asked that question, and he should not do that because it's not her sexual preference. If someone says that they're straight, you should respect that," she said when asked for her reaction to Mike's comments. "So he's taking a joke too far because she doesn't give him enough attention. That's his way of dealing with it."

As for Destiney, she said Mike joked about her sexuality because she has said that she's not interested in dating him. "There's always got to be something if you're not feeling him. There's always some kind of excuse," Destiney told The Daily Dish during an interview with Reza Farahan in New York City earlier this month. It can't just be because of him. It can't be because of him, like you're just not feeling him." 

And no, Destiney is still not interested in dating Mike, even if things seemed to get a little flirty between them in the past. "Yeah, no, I'm good. In another world, if Mike was not Mike and Destiney was not Destiney, we'd [have sex] and call it a day," she told The Daily Dish. "But not in this world. He's too much like a brother. I'm like his wingman." 

Reza didn't mince words during that same interview. "Hell, no!" he said. "Mike and Destiney should not get together whatsoever."
