Shereé Whitfield shared an update on her mother, Thelma Ferguson, after she went missing for more than two weeks and was later found earlier this spring during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on May 10.

Shereé was happy to report that her mother is doing just fine these days. "My mom is doing absolutely amazing," she shared in the above clip. "She's healthy, she's happy, and she's just doing good."

Police had been searching for Thelma after she was last seen by her family on March 23, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on April 8. Shereé took to Instagram on that same day to open up about what she and her family were going through, asking her followers for prayers, as well as to contact authorities with any information.

Shereé later shared the good news on Instagram on April 10 that her mother had been "found safe and healthy" and had been reunited with her family.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum said on WWHL: @ Home that prior to losing contact with her mother, she had been self-quarantined with her and her children (daughters Tierra and Kaleigh and son Kairo) at Chateau Shereé. "So I think that we were all getting on each other's nerves at one point or she kind of needed some time," Shereé explained. "And that's who she is. She's unapologetic about it. She don't feel like she owes anyone an excuse."

Andy Cohen then clarified with Shereé that her mom "wasn't missing," but that "she was just taking time." "We did not know that though. She took time and didn't let us know," said Shereé, who previously noted on Instagram that her mom has gone on vacation without notifying her family in the past. "That was the longest we had gone without ever hearing from her. And then we had this pandemic going on, so it was just a little scary for all of us."

One good thing to come out of this incident was that it brought Shereé and the RHOA ladies all together, even her frequent foe, Nene Leakes. "You know what, all of the girls reached out, including Nene, which I thought was amazing. You know, I also reached out to her when I found out Gregg [Leakes] was sick," Shereé said on WWHL: @ Home. "So at the end of the day, you know, we may have our issues or whatever, but when it comes to our families and things like that, I don't wish any bad ill on anybody and their family, and I think it's the reverse as well."

Of course, Shereé had the biggest Mother's Day message ever for her mom on Instagram on May 10. "Screaming Happy Mother's Day to this Queen!!!" she gushed. "I also want to wish ALL of the amazing moms around the world a very Happy Mother's Day! Sending [you] Love, Light and Happiness!"
