Shereé Whitfield Is Ready to Spill on the "Wives, Fiancées, and Side-Chicks" of Atlanta
The #RHOA star will release her debut novel in 2017.
If you thought that the Chateau Shereé was impressive, The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Shereé Whitfield is ready to floor you again — this time using the power of her pen. She plans on releasing her debut novel, Wives, Fiancées, and Side-Chicks of Hotlanta, on January 31, 2017.
According to a press release the book focuses on Atlanta newcomer, Sasha Wellington. Shereé's heroine is "on the road to success, but some of her close friends are stirring up drama. And the more time Sasha spends among the movers and shakers, the clearer it gets that just like on reality TV, the truth lies behind-the-scenes. Who people really are lies beneath the designer clothes, makeup, signature bags, weave and red bottom shoes."
Shereé opened up about the release to The Daily Dish earlier this year, sharing that she would use her experiences on reality TV to help shape the story. "Reality television seems to be everyone's guilty pleasure; both men and women. There is an addictive connection the audience has with the cast members of these shows. I wanted to take those very things — characteristics/issues/feelings/emotions/trials and tribulations that play out before viewers' very eyes — and form characters and situations around them," she shared. "So basically what I have done is created a reality show in print."
