Cynthia Bailey Says Shereé Whitfield "Can Be a Little Much" as Son Kairo's Momager
The #RHOA mogul dishes on the aspiring model's future in fashion.
Shereé Whitfield's son Kairo Whitfield is an aspiring model, and he's had a superstar fashionista show him the ropes this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Cynthia Bailey. Not only does Cynthia have decades of experience in the fashion industry as a model, but she also runs the Bailey Agency School of Fashion and has her very own luxury sunglasses and luggage lines to boot. In short, Kairo has some wonderful resources to help kick off his modeling career.
Perhaps even better news for Kairo is that Cynthia thinks he has what it takes to go far in the modeling industry. "I think Kairo is a great-looking guy, and I definitely think he has modeling potential, for sure. I enjoyed having him be in my CARGO fashion show that's gonna be coming up [on RHOA]," Cynthia recently told The Daily Dish. "He's just learning. He's just developing, but I think he has a lot of potential. I'm just happy to support him and Shereé in any way I can."
Speaking of Shereé, she seems to have come off a bit strong as something of a momager for Kairo this season, grilling Cynthia on how many models will be walking in her CARGO runway show, what kind of press is going to be there, and what kind of compensation her son will receive for his turn on the catwalk in Sunday night's episode of RHOA. "Shereé is just being Shereé. Shereé as a momager, she can be a little much," Cynthia said. "But this is her child. I know I can be a little nuts when it comes to Noelle [Robinson]. So anything that is done in the spirit of loving and supporting our kids, the moms get a pass because I know I can be a little crazy when it comes to my Noelle."
Whatever Shereé and Kairo are doing, it seems to be working. Kairo has rocked some photo shoots with and without a shirt on. Things also got steamy between Kairo and Fantasia in her music video for "When I Met You." Shereé previously told The Daily Dish that we should expect to see way more of Kairo in the future. "I've gotten some interest in him for acting. So acting and modeling," she said. "I never thought I would ever see Kairo, 'cause he's always been the quiet one, wanting to or even entertaining the idea of modeling and acting. So it's him coming into his own and I'm happy for him, super proud of him."
