Sonja Morgan Considers Herself a 'Good Friend' for Bouncing Alex

"She was going to embarrass herself," explains Sonja.

Alex McCord and Sonja Morgan
Sure, Sonja Morgan asked Alex McCord to leave her home just minutes after the Brooklyn-ite arrived. And did so rather loudly. Over and over again. In front a house full of guests. But that was just Sonja's way of being a true friend.

Come again?

"I will always be there for Alex," the Real Housewives of New York City star tells HollywoodLife. "I threw her out like a good friend would because she was going to embarrass herself."

OK. Alex and Sonja were bickering over their joint bridezilla moment when Sonja – as Grand Marshall of the Marriage Equality March – would not allow Simon or any other RHONY cast member to speak that day. The move didn't sit well with Alex, who was a member of the event's host committee, and when the topic was addressed at Sonja's art unveiling event... well, you get the picture.

But the altercation was just a mere bump along Friendship Road. "We never stopped being frds," Sonja tweets. "I shouldn't have brought up Simon at the art party. Should have stopped at duck off a waters back," she says in hindsight.

So, are you Team Alex or Team Sonja? Was Sonja justified to kick out Alex? Start a Tweet Battle, and make your case.
