Sonja Morgan to Make Her New York Stage Debut in a Sexy New Role
The #RHONY entrepreneur is going to put those "caburlesque" skills to good use.
We've seen Sonja Morgan create her very own line of toaster ovens, wow the crowd with her unique brand of "caburlesque," and get into the liquor business over the years on The Real Housewives of New York City. But Sonja is about to add one more job to her resume, and it's going to be her most theatrical — and sexiest — one yet.
Sonja will be making her New York stage debut as part the cast of the Off-Broadway comedy Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, Broadway.com reports. The RHONY mom will star as Robyn, who is described as "the shy and studious moderator" of an event at a local university featuring a fictional version of author Dan Anderson (Grant MacDermott), who co-authored the titular book on which the play is based, according to the show's website. Dan holds a sex tips seminar with the help of his trusty and "hunky" assistant Stefan (Michael Milton), from which the audience is sure to learn a thing or two — or at least be entertained.
It sounds like this role is really going to challeneg Sonja's range since she's one of the sexiest Housewives we know. "I am really excited to put my acting skills to the test,” Sonja said in a statement. “I’ve always said the only thing better than making people laugh is making them feel sexy. With this play, I get to do both. I have no doubt my New York stage debut promises to be a climactic affair.”
You can catch Sonja in Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man from October 1 to October 22. While we wait to see if any of her "caburlesque" moves make it to the stage once again, relive a past performance, below.
