Well, This Is a Major Development in Kathryn C. Dennis and Patricia Altschul's Relationship
Oh, how things have changed between the Southern Charm ladies!
Kathryn C. Dennis and Patricia Altschul haven't exactly been on the best of terms over the years on Southern Charm, and that's putting it mildly. But don't let the fact that Patricia didn't extend an invite to Kathryn to the baby shower she threw for Cameran Eubanks earlier this season fool you: there may be a thawing of tension between the ladies. Well ... it sounds like they're at least making some progress.
Craig Conover revealed during a recent interview with ET that Patricia acts a little differently when it comes to Kathryn these days. “Patricia, she doesn’t say mean stuff about Kathryn anymore,” he said.
OK, so maybe that doesn't mean these two ladies are exactly BFFs now. But at least there may not be so much bad blood between them as there used to be. A win is a win in our book!
Kathryn shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last year why she thinks Patricia seems to be so hard on her. "I think that when she sees me, she sees something in herself that she resents. Maybe, kind of like a mirror," Kathryn shared. "I don't know. That's kind of a broad way to put it, but I think that's the root of it all 'cause none of it makes sense otherwise."
Craig also told ET that Kathryn doesn't seem as "polarizing" this season as she may have been in the past. In fact, Craig previously told The Daily Dish that it's kind of like we're seeing a brand-new Kathryn this season. "Kathryn was always a sweetheart. I always liked Kathryn. But sometimes when you're not your healthiest self, it's never a good thing," Craig shared. "But you can't base people on that. So now that she's healthy, you get to really see the real her, and I think everyone will enjoy it."
But it looks like one person still brings out the fire in Kathryn this season of Southern Charm, which we'll see in next Thursday night's all-new episode at 9/8c. For now, you can check out a preview, below.
