Southern Charm Heads to Savannah This May: Get Your First Look at the New Series
Get ready for love, laughs, and lies when we head down to #SouthernCharmSAV this spring.
Charleston's socialites have charmed us, but now it's time to head down to Georgia to meet another crew that's sweet, sophisticated, and certainly knows how to bring the drama when Southern Charm Savannah premieres on Monday, May 8 at 10/9c.
Like Charleston, Savannah, Georgia is full of history, great societal expectations, and romance — and its inhabitants know how to turn on the charm. When Southern Charm Savannah premieres, you'll fall in love with six lifelong friends as they try to navigate their careers, love lives, friendships, and legacies.
And they already have the approval of the Southern Charm gang — well, sort of. Is that Thomas Ravenel and Shep Rose, who dubs Savannah, "the ugly stepchild of Charleston," in the above supertease? Well, whether it's a golf outing, cotillion, or costume party, the Southern Charm Savannah squad proves that they can definitely hang.
So who's a part of Savannah's most elite social circle? Well, there's Ashley Borders, a fashionista who spent years traveling the world before deciding to return home to raise her son, Izzy, as she was raised in Georgia. Catherine Cooper was born and raised in Savannah, but she's looking for her own independence, even if her on-again/off-again relationship with her high school sweetheart, Lyle Mackenzie, might make that difficult to attain. Speaking of Lyle, he's always had a bit of a wild streak, but he's hoping that he can put all of that behind him and settle down with Catherine. Daniel Eichholz is all business during the day and a ladies' man by night. Though "adulting" isn't exactly Daniel's strong suit, a scandal rocked his family business and brought him back down to reality. Hannah Pearson actually grew up around the Atlanta area, and now she's trying to make her way into Savannah society. Luckily, Hannah has had her boyfriend, Savannah native Louis Oswald, by her side. Louis followed in his grandfather's footsteps and worked in wealth management at a large bank before leaving to start his own business venture.
We'll also get to know a couple of this squad's pals this season, including Happy McCullough, who's going against Southern tradition and marrying her boyfriend, who identifies as Muslim, and W. Nelson Lewis Jr., who's looking for redemption after his wild behavior grabbed headlines in Washington, D.C. Buckle up, because it's going to be a bumpy ride to Georgia.
