To mark the big day, the Million Dollar Listing New York agent shared some throwback photos from the time little Rose was born and spilled his heart on Instagram.

"Hard to believe my little angel turned 2 today. Where does the time go? It’s been an absolute blessing to watch Rose grow before my very eyes. [Every day], as she learns how to navigate the world, she simultaneously teaches me about unconditional love, fatherly responsibilities, familial values and the importance of enjoying the ride along the way. These years go by way too fast. Continue to develop [into] the strong, independent, creative, smart, sensitive, sweet, loving, inquisitive, helpful, and downright wonderful little girl you are growing up to be. I’m proud to be your father. Daddy has your back, forever and always. Happy second birthday, Rose. Love, Dada," he wrote.

Million Dollar Listing New York Season 9 has been very different for all of the agents. The current season has followed not only Steve's career as he evolves as an agent and navigates the market in the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic (earlier this season, he noted, "COVID comes down hard on NYC") but also his home life with Luiza and Rose.

During the June 10 episode of MDLNY, Steve opened up about his family's experience with COVID-19. The episode took place during a time when the cast was filming their own experiences in quarantine when production shut down late last March, as was noted in the episode. Steve not only shared some cute home moments with his family, including dress-up, bath time, home haircuts, and goofy moments, but the dad also revealed that his family had COVID-19.

"We decided to stay in New York City during this crazy time because in early March, Rose actually got COVID-19, and subsequently Luiza got sick, and subsequently I got sick," Steve said in the episode. "This was pre-lockdown, and we made the decision to be in New York City with Rose being sick because she had the best hospitals in the world, and if we needed to take her there, we wanted to be in New York City. But, a lot of people left."

Over one year later, the family is thriving and life looks more back to normal for them as Steve proudly shows off on Instagram.
