Danielle Olivera Is “Shocked” by Where Her Friendship with Ciara Miller Stands Today
Danielle revealed an update on her friendship with her Summer House castmate.
After a difficult Season 6, Summer House’s Danielle Olivera and Ciara Miller want to bury the hatchet and move forward as friends.
In a preview of the April 3 episode of Summer House, which you can check out above, the housemates open up about their complicated past and how they were “missing each other” during their first two summers together instead of getting on the same page.
“I’m mad that I like you and I f--k with you, and it’s taken three f--king summers for us to get [there],” Danielle tells Ciara during the ladies’ dinner out. “That’s the crux of it.”
The fashion app co-founder adds that she regrets not being able to get along with Ciara when she first came to the Hamptons on Season 5.
“I feel like we’ve wasted time, and I feel like it could have been a lot of squashed stuff,” she continues. “I never had any actual beef with you. I would have loved to have us be [friends] from the get-go.”
After the dinner, the pair agreed to move in a positive direction, but did they ever actually become friends? Danielle recently gave The Daily Dish an update on where things stand with Ciara.
“I think no one is more shocked about the whole thing than Ciara and myself,” Danielle said, confirming that the two are now friends. “I mean, we still talk about it to this day… It’s so crazy how we could hate each other at one moment and then embrace each other in another.”
Following her breakup from Robert Sieber in the fall of 2022, Danielle has leaned on Ciara and Summer House–mates such as Paige DeSorbo, Mya Allen, Gabby Prescod, Amanda Batula, and Samantha Feher for support.
“I have so much love for all of the girls, especially with everything I’ve been going through, they’ve really gone above and beyond for me,” she added. “Ciara’s sending me flowers now, like what are the odds? I think it’s a really awesome thing to see.”
