Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula have been nothing short of candid, sharing the many ups and downs they experienced before walking down the aisle ever since they announced their engagement in 2018.

From starting the summer with major drama their first night in the Hamptons to having more than a few setbacks while planning their nuptials, all leading up to their epic wedding that fans finally saw unfold in the Season 6 finale, the Summer House couple has been incredibly open about their relationship. They discussed their wedding plans, opened up about concerning financial situations, and even had emotional conversations about a prenup, which didn’t always go smoothly, to say the least.

This prenup is a topic thats been looming over my head for, like, years, Kyle revealed in the March 28 episode. I don’t want [Amanda] to have another reason to question anything.

Well, Andy Cohen had plenty of questions for Kyle and Amanda, as they recently shared more details about their future together, including an update on whether they signed a prenup, during Part 2 of the Season 6 reunion.

After Andy asked the couple whether they had signed a prenup, Amanda responded, No, we did not. She continued to share why they didnt move forward with getting one, saying, I’m very naive to exactly what a prenup is and the risk. There is such a stigma around it. It’s always been, like, a negative thing, to which Andy replied, I don’t think it’s negative.

The reunion host also noted the pairs involvement in the drink company Loverboy, saying, But when there’s a business involved, isn’t that smart for the business?

I’m sure. I didn’t understand that it protects me from his debt also, Amanda responded, adding, Clearly, I’m lazy and didn’t do it.

Andy then asked for a show of hands to see who among the Summer House group planned to sign a prenup before marriage, and Mya Allen, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Lindsay Hubbard, and Danielle Olivera all raised their hands.

In addition to the prenup update, Kyle and Amanda also revealed during the reunion that they “were talking about” having kids down the line, and Amanda opened up about what was holding them back from becoming parents anytime soon, citing concerns regarding Kyle’s hectic work schedule. He’s working all day, I barely get to talk to him, she said, adding, I don’t want to be pregnant or with a newborn where he’s not even able to be with our kid, so we’re waiting.

As for what the future holds for the newlyweds over the next year, Kyle had this to say at the Season 6 sit-down: Just bask in the glory of not planning a wedding.

Speaking of their wedding, Kyle and Amanda opened up about finally saying “I do” on the Summer House Season 6 finale and revealed even more details about their financial situation during a joint exclusive interview with Bravo Insider earlier this season.

Amanda shared how much joy she still carried in the months since their wedding day. “I keep looking back at pictures from it, and I just remember how happy I was on that day and how relaxed I felt. Just soaking in every single moment, and just looking at the people around me and what was happening and that it was pure bliss,” she shared. “I’m so grateful that when I look back at those photos, I feel that same feeling all over again — just happiness.”

Amanda also revealed that she and Kyle had made one decision together in all their discussions concerning money.

“We recently opened up a joint bank account, which is so much fun,” Amanda told Bravo Insider, laughing. Kyle added, “Big steps here.”

Summer House is streaming on Peacock and available on the Bravo app.
