Is there still hope for the Summer House exes?

Everett Weston Cries As Lindsay Hubbard Says a Final Goodbye

UPDATE (MARCH 28, 2:09 P.M.): Lindsay opened up about why she ultimately decided to end her relationship with Everett in Monday night's episode of Summer House in a post on Instagram Tuesday, March 27. "I felt strong for knowing when to walk away from something that just wasn’t working for me. In this case, I didn’t think he was making enough of an effort to win me back, and he needed to try harder," she wrote in the post. "I needed physical proof and consistency. And until then, I wasn’t going to simply fall back into something based on words."

How to Watch

Watch Summer House on Bravo Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

But Lindsay admitted that "that conversation was extremely hard in the moment, when it was happening in real time, AND also difficult to watch back." She went on to explain that her heart-to-heart with Everett was emotional for the both of them. "Something not many people (outside of our friends) know about Everett is that as masculine (and sometimes intense) as he can be, he really has this deeply genuine heart, and a sensitive soul. When he loves, he loves fully. And I could tell this by looking into his eyes that day and watching tears fall down his face," she shared. "I gasped for air as I walked out the door and turned the corner. I’m not heartless, it was so incredibly hard to walk away in that moment- from someone who clearly loved me so much- but I had to be strong. I needed to stand my ground and stand firm, and I made a power play, as 'boss bitches' do! And in that moment, I was empowered!"

“I’m a fu*king boss bitch, empowered woman. Hear me roar.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is what I said in last night’s episode after walking away from Everett at the coffee shop. I felt strong for knowing when to walk away from something that just wasn’t working for me. In this case, I didn’t think he was making enough of an effort to win me back, and he needed to try harder. I needed physical proof and consistency. And until then, I wasn’t going to simply fall back into something based on words. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But what I also want to express, is that that conversation was extremely hard in the moment, when it was happening in real time, AND also difficult to watch back. Something not many people (outside of our friends) know about Everett is that as masculine (and sometimes intense) as he can be, he really has this deeply genuine heart, and a sensitive soul. When he loves, he loves fully. And I could tell this by looking into his eyes that day and watching tears fall down his face. I gasped for air as I walked out the door and turned the corner. I’m not heartless, it was so incredibly hard to walk away in that moment- from someone who clearly loved me so much- but I had to be strong. I needed to stand my ground and stand firm, and I made a power play, as “boss bitches” do! And in that moment, I was empowered! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I want to end with saying this: Everett, thank you for being vulnerable with me that day. Thank you for sharing your sensitive side with not only me, but with America. I know it’s not easy, especially for a masculine man, and it does not go unnoticed. PS: Thanks for the tweet last night! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you have no idea what I’m talking about, and missed last night’s #Summerhouse episode, catch up on @bravotv on demand!

Lindsay concluded the note by showing her gratitude to Everett for opening up about his feelings for her during that discussion, as well as more recently on Twitter. "I want to end with saying this: Everett, thank you for being vulnerable with me that day. Thank you for sharing your sensitive side with not only me, but with America," Lindsay wrote. "I know it’s not easy, especially for a masculine man, and it does not go unnoticed. The original story continues below.

Lindsay Hubbard and Everett Weston started off this season of Summer House with some shocking news. The one couple in the house in Season 1 revealed that they had broken up before the summer even began.

However, there was a glimmer of hope that Lindsay and Everett could get back together when the two reunited at Kyle Cooke's birthday party earlier this season. Unfortunately, this rekindled romance lasted about as long as any peace typically does in the Summer House, and by the end of the bash, the two seemed to be on the outs once again. Repeated efforts by Everett to win back Lindsay's heart failed, and she said her final goodbye to her ex after an emotional meeting back in New York City in Monday night's episode of Summer House (clip above).

But Everett is not going down without a fight. He pledged to work on himself and always support Lindsay, whatever form their relationship takes in the future. "Whether in love or war, I always fight for what I believe in. I’ve made many mistakes during my relationship with @LindsHubbs, but will work hard to prove I can be the man she needs," he tweeted during Monday's episode. "Whatever path life has for us, I’ll forever be in her corner."

Lindsay has stayed more mum on where she sees her relationship with Everett going from here. However, it's clear from this season of Summer House that she has been enjoying the single life. See what we mean, below.
