Lindsay Hubbard Says She Was “Nervous” to Do This with Carl Radke for the First Time

Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke go way back. The Summer House cast members were friends before they became… something much more. Now the engaged couple are living in their first shared home, and they’re having the time of their lives on a Jamaican vacation. (More on that later.) But this past summer, they did something together that they’d never done before. And frankly, it made Lindsay a little “nervous.” 

Carl and Lindsay recently sat down for an interview on the Mention It All podcast, and they spilled all the tea (or should we say the Loverboy?). As viewers saw on the Season 7 premiere, the Hamptons home that the group stayed in last summer had a little issue when it came to bedrooms. 

In short, the house wasn’t zoned for each cast member to have his or her own room, so sharing was required. On the pod, Lindsay confessed her feelings about bunking up with Carl, who was her boyfriend at the time. “I was nervous that we were sharing a room for the first time, like, ever,” she said. “Out of seven summers sharing a house, now we’re sharing a room. I was just nervous that we were gonna feel claustrophobic with each other — or maybe that you would feel that way with me.” 

But then it hit Lindsay. “I stopped to think: We’ve gone on all these vacations, we’ve traveled around the United States sharing hotel rooms.” Been there, done that, and all was fine. And speaking of vacations, the New Yorkers are currently living it up in Jamaica. 

In a February 15 Instagram post, Lindsay shared a photo of her and Carl beaming in their sun hats. A few palm fronds fluttered in the breeze behind them, and it was all blue skies and smiles. “Until further notice,” she captioned the post. 

Lindsay and Carl have both been capturing their getaway with one sunlit Story after the next. Their Instagram feeds document ocean vistas, hotel breakfasts, boat rides, and one very memorable bar trip. Lindsay captured a snap of a bar top where a new carving spelled out Carl Lindsay. 

Mind you, this trip is not all cocktails and cabanas. On February 17, Lindsay shared a Story captioned “adventure day” and indicated that she and Carl were at Jamwest Motorsports and Adventure Park.

Jamaica is supposed to be fun, and it looks like Carl and Lindsay are having plenty of it.
