This Super Bowl Ad Proves That Celebrity Yearbook Photos Were Just as Cringeworthy as Yours
Tina Fey, Steve Carell, and more take a hilarious look back at their younger days.
In case you haven't heard, the Super Bowl is this Sunday. But we're already getting a sneak peek at the best part of the big game: the commercials. A bunch of companies have released their buzzy spots, and we have a feeling that people are going to be talking about one certain ad long after the Super Bowl is over.
Honda's Super Bowl commercial is equal parts hysterical and heartwarming as celebrities take a look back at their old yearbook photos. The clip features Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Amy Adams, Magic Johnson, Steve Carell, Missy Elliott, Stan Lee, Jimmy Kimmel, and Viola Davis reminiscing about their big dreams growing up. Of course, looking back at these vintage pics also includes plenty of "What was I thinking?" moments, such as Tina questioning why she's holding a red rose in her yearbook photo or Jimmy cringing at the bright blue tux and frilly shirt he's wearing while proudly holding a clarinet.
It just goes to show that no matter how fabulous these celebs have become, they were also awkward teenagers once. Except for Robert Redford. He's always been pretty dreamy.
