Last night's Watch What Happens Live brought a story from Andy Cohen's memoir Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture to life when guest Susan Lucci hit the Bravo Clubhouse. As Cohen recounts in his bestseller, when he was 19 he got the chance to interview one of his favorite stars: Erica Kane from ABC soap All My Children.
So what does Lucci remember about the young Cohen?
"He wrote me a letter and asked if I would have lunch with him," Lucci recalls. "He impressed me so much. I remember he wanted to be a newsman at that time. And I said, 'We're going to be looking out for you, because you're going to be the London bureau chief.'"
"And her hair was like this!" Cohen adds, indicating a massive '80s coif. "She came out in red hoop earrings and a fur coat. She goes, 'I'm Susan, I hope you like Mexican food, because I'm taking you to lunch!'"
Want physical proof of Lucci's (and Andy's!) hair? The host shared a picture on his Instagram:
