Karlie Kloss' Response to Taylor Swift's Essay About Her Girl Squad is Perfect
The Project Runway host opens up about her "incredible" pop star friend.
Remember the days when Taylor Swift's girl squad would hold epic bashes and take sun-drenched selfies that left everyone clicking through social media with the most intense case of FOMO? Well, Swift does — and she recently reflected on the unrelenting coverage her inner circle received, in part, because she posted so much about it on, well, social media.
"Realizing childhood scars and working on rectifying them. For example, never being popular as a kid was always an insecurity for me. Even as an adult, I still have recurring flashbacks of sitting at lunch tables alone or hiding in a bathroom stall, or trying to make a new friend and being laughed at. In my twenties I found myself surrounded by girls who wanted to be my friend. So I shouted it from the rooftops, posted pictures, and celebrated my newfound acceptance into a sisterhood, without realizing that other people might still feel the way I did when I felt so alone," she wrote in Elle. "It’s important to address our long-standing issues before we turn into the living embodiment of them."
Now a fashionable member of her squad, Project Runway host and supermodel Karlie Kloss, has weighed in on Taylor's thoughts on the matter when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. You can check out what she had to say in the clip above (her response is, of course, totally perfect), in which she also provides an update on where she stands with the singer today.
Don't forget to check out Karlie on Project Runway on Thursdays at 8/7c. Preview all the fashionable competition to come, below.
