Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s son Cruz is healing from an injury after a recent fall. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom revealed that the five-year-old is wearing a cast after sustaining a broken thumb.

On August 7, Teddi shared a photo of Cruz and his baby sister, Dove, who is also in recovery after undergoing neurosurgery in late July. In the pic, Cruz can be seen wearing a bright green cast on his arm while Dove, who was diagnosed with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis earlier this summer, sports protective gauze around her head.

When asked about Cruz’s injury, Teddi explained that he had an accident during a recent bike ride with his dad, Edwin Arroyave. “He broke his thumb,” the mom of three wrote in the comments of the post. “When I was in the hospital with Dove, he fell off his bike with @tedwinator.”

Cruz’s injury comes on the heels of a stressful few months for the family. After confirming that Dove’s surgery was successful in early August, Teddi recently opened up about her five-month-old’s post-op recovery, writing, "It's crazy how resilient kids are. Dove is going into Day 4 post neurosurgery with both eyes open. The swelling went down, she passed all her markers and we have been sent home much earlier than expected.”

Teddi's daughter Slate, 7, also went underwent surgery earlier this summer after sustaining her own finger injury
