We could hardly believe it when Teresa Giudice's eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, turned 18 years old in January. Wasn't it practically yesterday when we watched her as an adorable (and fierce!) kid growing up in the Garden State on The Real Housewives of New Jersey?

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

Well, if you didn't believe that little Gia is all grown up before, you'll certainly know it to be true now. The RHONJ teen recently revealed where she'll be attending college starting in the fall, and she couldn't be more excited for her next chapter.

Gia has chosen to spend the next four years at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, she announced on Instagram on May 1. "It’s official... RU 2023," Gia captioned a photo of herself showing her scarlet spirit with some Rutgers gear.

In another photo in the post, Gia can be seen celebrating her college pick on the hood of her car, which is also decked out with balloons, a foam finger, and a pennant, all in Rutgers colors.

Teresa previously shared with The Daily Dish that Gia has been interested in pursuing a career in law, which was inspired by her and husband Joe Giudice's legal issues over the past few years (more on that in the above clip). Gia has been actively showing her support for her dad on social media amid his deportation case, including organizing a petition in an effort to keep him in the United States.

The RHONJ mom opened up to The Daily Dish last season about what she thinks it's going to be like to send her first child off to college. "I'm not trying to hold her back. I want her to go, and I want her to experience that," she said of Gia while she was deciding which college to attend last winter. "I think it's gonna be amazing."

Teresa gushes about all of her girls' awesome accomplishments, below.
