Teresa Giudice hasn't been on the best of terms with Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri over the past few seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. That was clear to see when her cousins didn't receive an invite to the family get-togethers on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
But this was confusing to one Watch What Happens Live caller during Sunday night's episode who thought it wasn't exactly clear why Teresa has a problem with them. Teresa's sister-in-law Melissa Gorga explained their absence at the holiday parties on WWHL. "For Christmas Eve, it was just that we wanted it to be intimate just with her parents. I mean, it was her first day back," Melissa told one WWHL caller of the fête, which took place the day after Teresa was released from prison. "For New Year's Eve, I'm not sure. It was her invite."
When Andy Cohen pressed Melissa on what Teresa's issues are with Kathy and Rosie specifically, she intimated that it has to do with some deep-rooted family drama. "You know, I don't know. I think it's something that you have to ask her," she said. "I know it runs through the veins of the family, and things that were said bother her."
And apparently, things are still tense between Teresa and Kathy. "Have I talked to them? Well, I've sent them texts. Yeah, I think I've gotten [a] response from Melissa. I don't think I've gotten any repsonse from Teresa," Kathy said during an appearance on SiriusXM's Reality Checked with Amy Phillips earlier this month.
We'll have to keep watching this season of RHONJ to see whether or not Teresa, Kathy, and Rosie will ever be one big, happy family. Until then, relive one of Teresa and Kathy's most intense RHONJ moments, below.
