NeNe Leakes' Husband Gregg Leakes Had the Flyest Return Home After 16 Days in the Hospital

NeNe Leakes' husband Gregg Leakes is back home after a 16-day hospital stay and looking as cool as ever. Not that we would expect anything less from The Real Housewives of Atlanta husband.
NeNe shared the good news on Instagram on May 23, two days after she first revealed that Gregg had been in the hospital for more than two weeks. "After 16 days my hubby, my rock, my best friend @greggleakes returns to the Leakes household!" NeNe shared on Instagram. "This has been really hard on us, our children, family and [closest] friends. He has a long road ahead but God is good and life is precious! WON’T HE DO IT? Come on somebodyyyyyy."
Another one of NeNe's posts showed that Gregg was getting back into the swing of things at home and enjoying the sun out by the pool — in some absolutely awesome metallic pajamas, no less.
NeNe first shared the news that Gregg had been in the hospital for 15 days straight on May 21 in a video posted on Instagram in which she announced that she had to cancel her then-upcoming shows in Albany, New York and New York City due to Gregg's health issues. "Hey, you guys, it's NeNe, and I'm doing a different announcement than I've ever done before. First of all, I just want to say that I feel very blessed and extremely lucky to be able to do what I do, and I'm so grateful that you guys purchase tickets to see me everywhere. I have to cancel my Albany, New York show and my New York City Caroline's show," NeNe said in the video. "Today marks the 15th day straight that Gregg has been in the hospital. I find it very difficult to stand onstage and laugh and have a good time and give you guys your money's worth knowing that my husband is in the hospital not feeling well. He has said to me over and over again, 'Go on. Go out there. Have a good time. Do the show. I'm gonna be fine.' But I find it mentally very hard for me to do."
NeNe did not share any details on why Gregg was in the hospital or what sort of health issues he was dealing with at the time. However, she remained positive in the video. "Gregg will be out of the hospital this week. He will be stronger. He will be better," she said. "And we will be out here doing this show again in no time. Thank you for loving me. Thank you so much."
The couple previously opened up about Gregg's health issues last season of RHOA when he went to the hospital to have surgery done to see if there was any blockage in his heart. Though it was an emotional time for NeNe, Gregg ultimately returned home and was doing well.
