Porsha Williams Explains What Caused So Much Drama with Her Sister Lauren Williams

Porsha Williams hasn't just been feuding with her fellow The Real Housewives of Atlanta this season. Things have also gotten incredibly intense with her younger sister, Lauren Williams. 

The two came at odds earlier this season while discussing the future of Porsha's business ventures, which Lauren works with her on. Fortunately, this family drama didn't last for too long as any beef between the Williams sisters was squashed following an emotional heart-to-heart. 

Of course, one might expect this tension from two people who work and live together, as Porsha and Lauren did during the season, along with Lauren's daughter Baleigh, who turns 2 next month — and, you know, sisters. "Yes, that was difficult, OK? We hit a big bump in the beginning when she first got there, just being around each other so much, I think we were irritating each other, you know what I'm saying, just picking at each other," Porsha shared with The Daily Dish earlier this season (clip above). "But right after that, it was like, OK, I got it. We need our space here and there. So we take those moments of like, 'OK, girl, I'm in my room. You can be downstairs.'"

This isn't anything new for the Williams sisters. Growing up, they also had their fair share of moments when they got on each other's nerves, as siblings tend to do. "Lauren and I always had a really good relationship. I mean, we're six years apart, so I had to give her time to grow up and catch up to me because I was already an adult right there and she was just this little, aggravating teenager," Porsha said. "But I could not wait for her to turn 21 because it was like, 'Oh, now we can hang out.' So now we're best friends. But of course, when she was still using me to throw parties in my condo, it was like, 'OK, the irritating little sister.'"

Lauren has since moved out of Porsha's home and in with her fiancé after recently getting engaged. "He's a great guy," Porsha gushed about her sister's beau. "You know, I love how he loves his daughter Baleigh, and that is definitely gonna win the heart of the family right there, being a great dad."

But no matter where life takes Porsha and Lauren, it doesn't sound like anything could ever break the bond between these sisters. "She's my everything. I couldn't have been blessed with a better little big sister because that's who she is to me. In business, she gets things done. And you know, working with your family member, you're definitely going to bump heads here and there. But that's sisters, and it's also business that happens. But she and I are best friends, but we're super close, we're there for each other," Porsha shared. "So we have a really good relationship."
