What can we say? Despite there being more than 8 million people living in the Big Apple, The Real Housewives of New York City still manage to date the same men.
First, there was Harry Dubin, who was once married to Aviva Drescher and then dated Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps. Then, there was, of course, Tom D'Agostino, who had rather infamously dated Sonja and Ramona Singer before going on to marry and ultimately divorce Luann. Finally, this season of RHONY, a man by the name of Brian (or Mr. Red Scarf) caught the eye of Ramona, Bethenny Frankel, and Carole Radiziwill at a speed dating event.
And apparently, this just keeps on happening, even with RHONY alums. Andy Cohen revealed that Jill Zarin's new boyfriend previously dated Ramona. "Jill emailed me today, and she said that she's been dating this guy," he said during Part 1 of the RHONY Season 10 reunion Wednesday night. "And she said, 'You'll never believe it. This guy used to date Ramona.'"
As everyone picked their jaws up off the floor, Ramona confirmed this little tidbit, while also emphasizing that things never really got all that serious between them. "That's true. We went on four dates," she shared at the reunion. "I wasn't even divorced yet. My foot was just in the pool of getting divorced. I wasn't ready for a relationship."
In the words of Andy, "Well, that's wild."
Following reports earlier this summer that Jill had started dating Gary Brody six months after the passing of her husband, Bobby Zarin, in January, the RHONY alum confirmed the news during an interview with Extra at her sixth annual luxury luncheon on July 28. “New like, we’ll start with new like," she told Extra when asked about her new love. “It’s time. We started out as friends and, you know, that’s what Bobby wanted for me, he was very adamant about it.”
Ramona also had some very strong opinions about Bethenny's recent reconciliation with Jill at the reunion. See what she had to say, below.
