Sonja Morgan Reveals She Was Once Held at Knifepoint
The Real Housewives of New York City designer recalled a terrifying experience from her past.
Just when you think you've learned all there is to know about Sonja Morgan after watching her for eight seasons on The Real Housewives of New York City, she somehow finds a way to make our jaws drop again and again.
Take her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Wednesday night, for instance (clip above). When asked by her fellow WWHL guest Michael Rapaport how long the actual "scary part" of the Boat Ride from Hell lasted during the ladies' trip to Cartagena, Colombia, Sonja likened the experience to another horrifying episode from her past. "It seemed like forever, but it must have been three, four minutes while the anchor was still down. No, but it's forever. Have you ever been mugged in an elevator three, four minutes? It seems like a half an hour," she said.
Sonja went on to explain that many years ago, when she was on her way to an interview for a new job, she was held at knifepoint and mugged in an elevator. Fortunately, it sounds like Sonja walked away from the harrowing experience OK, all things considered. She spoke about it in typical Sonja fashion on WWHL.
